I am Dr. Carmelo L. Braganza, Orthopedic Surgeon and Fellow of the Philippine Orthopedic Association. I specialize in fracture surgery, sports surgery (arthroscopy of knee and shoulder) as well as joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee. I did my specialty training at the National University Hospital in Singapore for Sports Surgery and Joint Replacement Surgery.
I am fully trained and experienced Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty surgeon. I’m a graduate of the University of the Philippines from Pre-medicine to Orthopedic Residency. I had my two year fellowship in Flinders Medical Centre in Arthroscopy and Joint Reconstruction in Adelaide, Australia. I have been in Orthopedic practice for 17 years mainly treating sports related injuries and joint replacement surgery. Presently I am the Chairman of the Manila Doctors Hospital’s Department of Orthopedics.
