I am the immediate Past Chief of the Division of Pediatric Nephrology at the Philippine General Hospital. I have been practicing as a general pediatrician and as a pediatric nephrologist for the past 24 years. I am also a retired professor of renal physiology at the UP College of Medicine. I had my fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at the Children’s Hospital in Westmead Sydney Australia. I am a Past President of the Philippine Society of Nephrology and currently the Vice President of the Philippine Society of Hypertension. I am also a Hypertension Specialist. I take care of all kinds of kidney diseases in children such as urinary tract infections, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, congenital and genetic disorders of the kidney and urinary tract, lupus nephritis, hypertension, acute and chronic kidney failure, dialysis and kidney transplant patients.
