I had my fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at the Children’s Hospital in Westmead Sydney Australia. I am a Past President of the Philippine Society of Nephrology and currently the Vice President of the Philippine Society of Hypertension. I am also a Hypertension Specialist. I take care of all kinds of kidney diseases in children such as urinary tract infections, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, congenital and genetic disorders of the kidney and urinary tract, lupus nephritis, hypertension, acute and chronic kidney failure, dialysis and kidney transplant patients.
Dr. Keith Andrew Chan is a graduate of the Cebu Institute of Medicine, having pursued residency training in Internal Medicine and Adult Cardiology fellowship at Chong Hua Hospital, Cebu. He then proceeded to undergo further subspecialty fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the National University Heart Centre of Singapore.
I completed my training in General Surgery in 1981 and Colorectal Surgery in 1983 in the Philippine General Hospital. Then I joined the Faculty of the UP College of Medicine, UP Manila in 1984. I am a Diplomate of both the Philippine Board of Surgery and the Philippine Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery. I am a Fellow of both the Philippine College of Surgeons and the Philippine Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons. I also became the President of both organizations in 2001 and 1997, respectively. Since 1983, I practiced General & Colorectal Surgery in PGH and Manila Doctors Hospital. I retired from UP Manila in 2015. Now, I practiced only in Manila Doctors Hospital, where I am the Chairman of its Department of Surgery in 2016-2021.
