I practice endocrinology which includes seeing patients with G.O.O.D. problems (Goiter or thyroid disorders, Obesity, Osteoporosis and Diabetes). My particular clinical and research interests are diabetes, weight management, clinical nutrition, cholesterol disorders and hypertension. I graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine’s elite INTARMED program and did my residency training at the Cleveland Clinic and fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I ranked in the top 10% of the Diplomate examinations of the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. I am an active consultant at the St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City and head the Center for Weight Intervention & Nutrition Services. I am also the Section Chief of Endocrinology at Asian Hospital & Medical Center.
