Dr. Torres is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She completed her Dermatology residency training at Makati Medical Center and was Deputy Chief Resident during her senior year. After passing the dermatology diplomate exams, she pursued a one-year fellowship training in Photomedicine / Vitiligo at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, USA.
What is Photomedicine? It is the study and treatment of diseases caused by exposure to light. It also involves the diagnostic and therapeutic application of light for skin diseases.
