Dermatologist deals with the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, its appendages (hair, nails) and adjoining mucous membrane (mouth, genital). While Venereologist deals with the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) also called "venereal diseases".
