was referred to her for my myoma. was advised to get GnRH shots and then come back to her for an ultrasound and then assess if she can do SISH; finished my last hormonal shot in May but didn’t get an appointment (due to her unavailability and my schedule conflict) until June. Got my ultrasound and told me the fibroid got smaller but could not proceed with the initial treatment plan because of the ultrasound result. asked her what SISH again because I have no medical background and everything she says is almost jargon. She responded with ‘di ba in-explain ko na sayo?” which to me sounded a bit condescending (explain ko kaya sa kanya pano mag-upload ng flat files sa Amazon Seller account?) she didn’t really ask me a lot of questions to find out more about my history (contrary to the latest doctor I’ve spoken to); she said she will speak to my original OB about the result of my ultrasound but she never did. She ended up referring me to do HiFU and I had to go to another doctor, and found out that there aren’t a lot of studies about it yet and the new doctor I consulted discouraged me to go that route.
Anyway, I think she’s good and highly respected in her field, so this is just based from my personal experience.
