I am a practicing general pediatrician for the past 15 years and a pediatric nephrologist for the past 8 years. I finished pediatric training at St. Paul’s Hospital Iloilo and pediatric nephrology at the Philippine General Hospital UP-Manila. Im an active member of the Philippine Pediatric Society (PPS) local chapter and a community advocate. I joined the academe in 2007 and is currently one of the assistant professors at the West Visayas State University – College of Medicine. I have a passion for teaching, i earned my diploma in health professions education at the National Teachers Training Center and conducts workshops on instructional design, test construction and related topics for medical education.
