My basic training consisted of 3 years as a resident in The Department of Ophthalmology of The Medical City from Jan 1995 to Dec 1997. After which I entered into a 2 year fellowship training under the Ophthalmological Foundation of the Philippines (Ofphil). Training here consisted of numerous cataract surgeries Intracapsular, Extracapsular, and Phacoemulsification surgery.
